Hallelujah, yes it finished yesterday.  ;D
I haven't rushed out and bought anything. It will be nice to eat out next weekend though. I think that is what I missed most. For DH it was not being able to buy new socks (no lives lost though, we are both still here to tell the tale). Still went out but took picnic lunches. The one thing I researched was airfryers but having to wait, I realised I don't really think I would use it long term and then I would be on here hoping someone would take it off my hands.  :-))

Just over $80  >:(   . .  but at least the freezer is still turned off . . . :-))  Will try harder next week . . ;D

Im around $200 atm. Everything is fully stocked now.

Totally inspired by you all. Next week aiming for a 0 spend food week. 
Today , restocked after 3 weeks away.  Spent $145 which is pretty good.  This thread made me stop and think before I put any thing in my basket.  Visitors twice this week but leg of lamb and chicken from freezer.

You've done well stocking up at that price Chookie. Not so much will power as over all my excess, buying, consumerism.

I was around $100 again and like you Chookie this post and the freezer post makes me stop and think about what I buy in the shops.  We are getting close to needing to shop for meat and nuts which means going to Gargins and the Central Market which is always a challenge to walk out with just whats on my list  ;)

I finally achieved a $0 week.  ;D I haven't shopped for 9 days.
Today I spent a bit under $89. No meat as I'm still emptying the freezer. Fruit and veg were the main things as I only had a box of frozen berries, 1 tomato, 3 carrots and some frozen vegies left. Also I ran out of pantry things like brown sugar, raw sugar etc. I think this time next week the freezer will be able to be turned off and defrosted.  :D

I will be back on this next week when we come home. Loving it here so much we have booked another week in September. Managed to get all 3 flights with points, so just need hotel and spending money. Love the challenge when I have a goal ;D
