I include everything in our budget (which is NZ$150 for the 4 of us, DH takes lunch to work etc). I don't tend to get no spend weeks, but I often try and stretch my buying "week" out to 8 or 9 days without buying more....but I can't usually keep it going quite long enough to get a no spend week in there. It helps though, and makes me get a bit creative with what's in the cupboard.

$150 is good for 4 people when it includes everything.

Meal planning is the key.. Week at a time. A few people on here use Cookie1's sheet... It does help

I include everything I get from the supermarket, and try not to go over $100/week, it is a challenge but I really enjoy it....the way the dollar can stretch with a bit of forward planning and using TM alot (no buying cookies etc, make them all) seems to work for our family of 6 (not that the baby costs anything to feed ATM!! but her creams/shampoos etc are included too)
....
but in saying all that, DH is at this very moment at the supermarket doing the groceries, so............ I can pretty much guarantee it will be over budget!! Lucky we have been below for a while.
