Chicken and vegetable pie with left over RTE garlic rice for the men, ratatouille & rice for me.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I liked the look of that as well.  It will be interesting to get your feed back Mab.

I liked the garlic rice even tho I had trouble eating it.  The men thought it was ok but said not to hurry and make it again.

Left over pie for the men tonight with potato mash, carrot, cauli & broccoli.

Risotto Bolognese. This is a favourite of mine and was on my Cook key but they have taken it off Cookidoo ! Strange it’s now on Saudi Arabia collection!! So still on Cookidoo but have to remove the English filter . DH had a crown today so had to think of a protein meal , steak was on the menu so quickly changed that .

I found a curry in the freezer so made it into a pie. We had left over Colcannon with it and other veggies.

Chow Mien, lots of lovely veggies. I’ve added sweet corn and water chestnuts as well. I am cooking an Apple cake . Rather strange mix. I’ve used Quicker than a cake mix recipe and left out the sugar by added Maple syrup.

The Apple Cake was an absolute disaster. My fault, used a small deep dish and should have done as instructed and used a large flat tin.
For dinner, falafels and yoghurt and cucumber dip. Love this falafel recipe. Made in TMX and baked in oven. Not fried.

We had pizza last night and tonight we may have takeaway. We had a car run today and all the fresh air makes you tired.

I intended to cook a roast for the men but as the meat hasn't thawed out now it is vegetable soup and a slice of egg & bacon pie.   Roast tomorrow night. :)
