I made 2 lots of meals for both DH and I today which to be honest I wished I'd only made one and the other on another day.  Not hard to make just a lot of mucking around and lots of washing up afterwards  :-\

A cauli mac & cheese for DH with a sourdough/garlic/rosemary crumb on top which he loved and for me a recipe from Sophia Guidolin's book 'Everyday Thermo' book called 'lamb, chilli & coriander tagine'.  Supposedly only 4 serves but I got 6 out of mine (making it only 315 cals) which I've frozen for quick meals on other days. Really enjoyed it, flavour was good though I will leave out the chilli next time.  Also wasn't a fan of the red kale, I think I'll use green beans next time. :)

Didn't take a photo of mine but this is the cauli mac & cheese.

Sometimes we get carried away in the kitchen and halfway through wish we’d never started LOL.
Plenty of meals for you in the freezer now and you will appreciate your efforts each time you take out a quick meal Julie.
I’ve never liked plain Mac and cheese but add some veggies to it and yes, it’s lovely. Your topping sounds very tasty.

Roast chicken with tin of Apple cider stuck up its bum. The special potatoes that we bought from the factory are beautiful. Sugar snap peas from garden. Apple and sultana pies in Sausage Roll machine.  Thanks girls, love reading what everyone is cooking.

Being Saturday it is pizza for us. I have the bases rolled out ready for DH and DD to top and cook. I use Jamberie's pizza base but I don't let it rise. I roll it out and leave it to puff up a bit on the pizza dishes. It becomes all lovely and bubbly.

Cookie, I use the same recipe for Pizzas. My new trick is to stamp out round bases with a tin dish.  The size is one that fits in the AF.  I make lots of pizzas and the leftover ones reheat beautifully in the AF.
Leftovers tonight.
