I have my inlaws for tea tonite but I'm still going to light a candle and have champagne. They'll think it's funny

Enjoy dinner MF. What lovely hubbies you and Astarra have

I love my DH to death but he is in no way romantic - not in the slightest

R you going to let us in on your brainwave Amy?  ;D
We are all different Chrissa and lots of men don't show their feelings. My dad was like that but he loved my mum to bits  :D
DH's dad was the same and I think that's why he is the opposite

Our dinner will be leftovers from lunch. I even forgot it was Valentines day until a while ago.

Okay MF ;D I'm going to use the leftover bolognese sauce from last night to make potato topped pies. But I'm going to do some sweet potato mash to make a love heart in the middle of each one :D :D

Never been into Valentine's day, even when I had a partner - my late DP used to buy me flowers all year round which was sooo nice!

Tonight we're having chicken & veg stir fry, need something quick after swimming lessons.

Sounds good Amy.
I'm doing pork chops - not sure how yet, with some veges and then apple pie type thing, haven't really decided. I may just have to make another coffee and trawl through here for inspiration!
I'm the non-romantic one in the family (took after my Dad!) hubby is the romantic one - but I remembered V day thismorning!  We have been together for 23 years and married for 17 and love eachother to bits.  :)
I wonder if my girls will get a V day card today? Miss 11 did last year and hid it - not very well as I found it later. So cute when they're 10!! Miss 16 is not impressed with boys (or girls!) so don't think she'll give one, but the boys like her, so will be interesting...

My DH and I are making pizza's together tonight.
We don't give each other gifts on Valentine's Day, but my DH can be romantic and has sent me flowers at other times over the years.

He did give me a Valentine's card yesterday  ;D
We were having breakfast and he presented me with a red envelope and said "Happy Valentine's Day Baby".  I said it's tomorrow!  He said really??  Off he went to check the calendar, swearing...
He tried to get out of it by saying he loves me so much he couldn't wait  :D
