Slow cooked rabbit with tomatoes and mushrooms. Cinnamon stick in the mix was a tasty addition.

YUM!!! I love slow cooked rabbit!  :)

Tonight I made Butter Chicken with Fragrant Pilau Rice, and Chicken Fried Rice for the kids.

OMG was the chicken and rice utterly delicious (rare for me to be gaga for food, ESP after being cooking it). So hard to resist seconds!

(Excuse the knife and fork, must leave them out the road next time)

Hi Rob, was it the EDC butter chicken or another? looks yum.

Your rice is such a long grain one Rob, what's it called.  I've never seen a long-grain rice so long before  ???

Salami sliced and cooked in a frypan to get Ridof some of the fat. Then add baby tomatoes and a couple of handfuls of spinach. Stir cookedasta through this with bocconcini. I think I'll have the 2 second salad with it asa I bought the ingredients this afternoon.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Hi Rob, was it the EDC butter chicken or another? looks yum.

No it was from the Indian cookbook (also on here as Butter Chicken & Tikka Paste). We left out the green chillies. We have made it a few times before (the first time being disastrous due to using birds eye chillies in the Tikka paste and not knowing they were extra hot), but last nights was just food orgasmically good.

Your rice is such a long grain one Rob, what's it called.  I've never seen a long-grain rice so long before  ???

Judy, the rice is Basmati which is a long grain rice and tends to be pretty much what the Asian shops sell around here (though that lot was from the supermarket). I tend to use it for pretty much everything (including the Steamed Garlic Rice from here).

I'll post the pilau recipe shortly.
