I'm cooking pasta with pumpkin sauce for mum and SD tonight. If the pumpkin sauce turns out any good, I'll post the recipe :)

Freezer meal for us too - Chelsea's beef stroganoff with pasta. Love having a selection of meals in the freezer for the days I'm working & too tired to cook. Right now I have:
More beef stroganoff
Butter chicken
Chicken & corn chowder
Beef & guiness stew
Bolognese x 2
Hoisin chicken
Plus other bits & pieces like sliced corn beef, meat pies etc.
Hmmm better not cook anything this week!

You're so right Hally! Luckily I don't have room for a stand alone freezer, I'd be sure to fill it in no time!

It's great that we all love cooking  ;D
So many people live off of supermarket frozen meals!
This forum brings like minded people together.  :)

Deedub and Hally - just curious as to what containers you find best for freezing your meals - plastic tubs (like the takeaway tubs) glass, ziplock bags?

GF, I use takeaway type containers for individual meals, tupperware or whatever for large casseroles and zip lock bags for pies and sausage rolls. I aalso vacuum pack meals too.
Be careful with freezer bags as they tend to stick together.

I bought a load of take away containers from W when I  started cooking for my friend, so  have been using those. Normally I use tupperware & ziplock bags, with the ziplock I always double bag.

I wouldn't mind having a problem like that Uni. At least I would know there was always healthy meals in the house in case of emergencies ;)
