It's very similar to a very good quality lean beef mince.
I prefer kangaroo patties to beef patties. You should try it some day Halex, it's really good stuff. :)

I used to use kangaroo mince in my lasagne, but haven't done so for ages. It has quite a strong smell when you fry it off, but it tastes similar to beef when it is cooked in dishes. These days I just buy it for cat food. I should give it another go.

I knew it was lean and low in fat, but didn't realize how much goodness is in skippy meat. Bonus for my weight loss challenge :D

Absolutely! ;D

I'm pretty sure you can use it just like any other meat Hally. I hear its really yummy in stirfries or even curry ;)

OMG we just devoured Judy's Chicken and Almonds, which turned into Chicken and Cashews because somebody ate all the almonds >:(

But it was deliciooooous :D

Glad you liked it Amy.

We had one of man's favourite meals tonight - fillet steak, chips, eggs and fried halved tomatoes.  Not TMX but rushed after visitors all afternoon and it was so quick to bring together.

Was going to slow cook a leg of lamb, but DH got out meat for the dogs in error.
PC cooked whole chicken instead now.
Just need to find a nice recipe for it.
