7 guests tomorrow for my parent's 81st birthday. Grilled lemon chicken wings, Turkish bread, hummus (with homemade tahini), spicy pumpkin dip, meatloaf, flourless almond cake, mini cheesecakes, salads.....  And some yogurt as I was running out.

Everyone's cooking looks so lovely. Not much cooking happening here ATM.
Managed to cook baked steak and a huge cauliflower cheese bake with a whole cauli, head of broccoli and 2 big carrots with double the sauce for dinner. The whole lot went  :o :o :o Don't know where they put it all.

Lots of delicious jam there mab. Robyn and Chookie you have been busy. CC, I'm sure the cake will still be lovely it is soggy in the centre serve it with custard and no one will know.
I hope to make some small sweet buns later today and dinner is a recipe for a Pide from Tenina's calendar.

Everyone's been raving over the non-fried rice recipes so I made the one from RC this morning, not sure which recipe others have marked as their favourites.  Years ago I made one of Quirky Jo's but today I thought I'd try a different recipe.

Half quantity, a huge amount!  It's delicious. Sorry about the photo being upside down but I'm still trying to work out this new iPad.  If you tap on it, it comes out the right way  :-))

Don't worry Judy. I use tapatalk for my photos here and they usually turn out ok, but when I email photos from my ipad to people they are always upside down.

The rice looks delicious.
