i always wondered what those were and now i know, i think. i went and covered my sensors to see what would happen, but nothing happened  :-\

Are you saying that when you covered the little sensors and put something into the bowl, the scales didn't go beserk? Mine certainly did, how weird is that  ???

Hi all!  Thanks Judy for the experiment, the weird thing is the TM works in my mother-in-law's house without going beserk (or should that be the other way round? ;) )

Anyhow, I've had the machine 6+ years, and not too sure how good the local reps are where we live now, but will check it out and let you all know the outcome - let's hope it's not too expensive, otherwise the 'sneaking up' approach will have to suffice!
