We had a visit from 3 of our GD yesterday, they came for afternoon tea.    One GD has become very interested in sewing so I gave her one of my machines, I did have 3, and as I am not sewing much these days she might as well have it.  She will come again on another day for some lessons.  None of our other GD have any interest in craft work of any sort.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, that’s great.  A few lessons from you who is such an excellent craft person and she will be inspired.
Went to Tai Chi today but instructor didn’t turn up. We had a good gossip instead.
More documents to have certified.  Bl**** pain in the neck.

What a jolly nuisance Chookie. Hopefully it will all be done soon.
We have had some massive storms and quite a lot of rain last night and today. Fortunately not a lot of wind so I haven’t had to go and find the Port. 😀😀

Yesterday I made some of my rye SD bread and some muesli bars. We hope to go away for a few days on Monday so these are to take with us.

After a few nice days , sewing group and bookclub it was nice to stop . Collected DS yesterday arvo as they have a four day weekend. DS had his last Rist day ( Cert Ag 111 ) after 18 months doing this and a large assignment task all done ! Now he will have more time for his other subjects . Seems he is very very tiered , hopefully today out collecting fencing posts and old wire . Still planting the crop . After a very wet and beastly weather the Ute slides around the paddock, so the seeder will stay there for a few days till we can get in . Not much rain but it seems to pull us up .

Nothing nicer than coming home to a clean and tidy house, Cookie. Enjoy your trip.
I’ve been removing all the extra things from the kitchen area ready for the hands on bread demo tomorrow. 3 Thermos, 2 people on each. Hope the 2 ovens behave themselves.

We had a car run today. It was freezing. We took our 1962 Holden. We went up the coast and then back inland for our meeting and lunch.

Cookie, any heating in the Holden?
Cooking class went well. Made lots of bread. All enjoyed the hands on experience. I think if TMX consultants were able to do hands on demos, people would understand more about the potential of the machines.
One of my neighbours made pumpkin soup, following Cookidoo, as well as bread.
I managed the oven, but had to cover bread with foil 1/2 way through.

A successful day then Chookie, I bet those ladies went home very happy with their loves of bread.

I’ve defrosted and done a new inventory for the big freezer and the fridge one. I then searched for recipes using frozen veggies as I found so many packets I would like to get rid of. I found several recipes to try which include different soups and pasta dishes.

The Holden does have heating Chookie but you have to switch it on and off under the bonnet and we couldn’t be bothered stopping. Laziness.
Today we left home about 9.20am and set off on our mini holiday. Tonight we are in Mingenew, it’s about 32 mile from where I grew up. We are in a caravan park so we can fill up with water and charge everything.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mingenew,_Western_Australia

We had lunch at Moora which is where Dad did much of his schooling. This is a church where his Aunt (my great Aunt) cleaned every week until she died at 92.
