Gardening and washing this morning, beautiful day.

Took the kids to paint a pot at Robert Gordon pottery.  DD decided on a popcorn box as she likes popcorn at the moment.  So the masterpiece was created, we included handprints of both kids.  Hopefully it doesn't crack in the firing process.

Afterwards we went to the playground to enjoy the sunshine.

Got a scare yesterday as dd hasnt been eating hardly at all lately and as usual was slowly eating her sandwich (wont eat what we are eating) and it seemed like the food was in her mouth forever.. Anyway all of a sudden she was going white and couldnt breath so dh put his finger down her throat as he could see the bread had gone all gluggy and got stuck in her throat.. She threw up everywhere but could breath... She didnt seem phased and rinsed her off then put her in the bath.. She was happy... Kids.. Amazing how calm she was...

Oh that's horrible Frozzie, I remember when my eldest DS was about 1 and he chocked on a piece of toast, he went white, then red then purple before I could get him to dislodge the toast. He was really weak and limp for a while after that. Scared the hell out of me :(

Yes think those moments are terrifying for any parent.. Generally onlY lasts for seconds but feels much longer.. Same as when your out somewhere and you turn around and they are gone or when they are really sick and no matter what you do nothing works..she is fine though.. Threw dh a bit as he couldnt get over how white she went.. He kept following her around as found her a bit weak.. I didnt notice much of a change except she was quiet (she is never quiet)... All good now though..

Amy did you use the peroxide??? I used to use that on my horse injuries.. Had a horse that cut its leg open badly on a fence once and thats what i was told to put on it.. Certainly worked and used to fizz up alot.. Never heard of it on humains though.. Same principle though .. Oh i cant get your poor knees out of my head.. I would be the worst nurse.. Hope your ok?

It is frightening and is something I have to cope with from time to time with DH.  Would you believe it happened to him on a cruise ship dinner, those around us went very quiet whilst the waiter helped him then they broke out in applause when the food was dislodged. Talk about show and tell!

Amy, tell us more about your job - full time, part time?  How was it better than the hospital job?

Frozzie, so glad your little one is okay.  Only last week at the supermarket a little boy at the checkout had put a 20cent coin in his mouth and it lodged in his throat.  The checkout girls were yelling for the manager and one lady yelled out to tip him upside down.  The mother went totally to pieces, I got there as the coin fell out on the floor.  The manager eventually turned up and they decided to take him to the doctor for a check up.  Quite frightening .
Astarra, hoping your little one is feeling a bit better by now.
Amy, hoping those knees start healing soon.

Wasn't Amy going to her new job tonight for a  training session. Much better than working in the hospital. She would be bored stupid.
