I often wonder how ticklish feet go at the podiatrist.

After a very hot weekend it has been lovely here. The weekend is heating up though.

Oh do tell us the outcome Chookie, if you start giggling the podiatrist might too. Mind you I’ve never met one with a sense of humour yet unfortunately.

Our podiatrist has just resigned so we need to find another one.

Cookie, DH feet are ticklish and he has to try not to wriggle and scrunch his toes up.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Managed well with the tickling. She had a firm hold which seemed to do the trick. Having sensitive feet when you have diabetes is a good thing as it means the blood is circulating. Also nice young lady.
Warm again today with possible storm later.
TMX consultant probably coming today.  I’m going to make her some Portuguese Tarts as she is doing it tough. She has two teenage daughters and her husband has been stuck in Singapore for over a year.

Judy my podiatrist is good but no sense of humour either.
Chookie I hope you can sort Cookidoo out. Your poor consultant. I'm thinking I may have to get mine to come round and help me sort it out. I've spent some time on it but just get confused.

I’m sure all consultants will be very busy helping the oldies with their Cookidoo problems. I don’t plan to ever go there.

Sadly I have not been receiving notifications from the forum for months. Have logged out and tappped notify and unnotify several times. Still not working. But remembered to check on you all so glad to see you are still here! All is well in the far north and not yet wet in “The Wet”.

Hi Gert, if I don’t receive any notifications automatically for a period of time  (it does happen occasionally) I click on ‘View the most recent posts on the forum’ in the Forum Stats down near the bottom of the home page just to make sure I haven’t missed any.  I will mention it to MM though, it may be happening to others as well. I guess the rain will get to FNQ eventually and I hope you’re keeping well.

Hi Gert. I think perhaps other parts of Queensland may be receiving your share of the rainfall. Hope you are keeping well.

Judy, hopefully MM will read your pm to him and he will act.

I emailed him cookie.
Not surprising that SA now has Covid cases since the border opened but for the first time ever we have 2 places on the Peninsular where people have been. That means they probably use my shopping centre so I’m staying away for the time being to see how things pan out. I was prepared to be ready for this!

Gert, great to hear from you.  Have been thinking of you.
I got locked out of the forum for a while but just logged in every day. It seemed to sort itself out. Haven’t a clue what I’m doing most of the time.
Cool change came through yesterday but still 20 today.
Judy, wise to stay away from areas where the bug is.

I guess it is to be expected when the borders open Judy. They are preparing over here for when the borders open.

Cooler today.
Enjoyed visitors yesterday.  The 4 of us worked together at different times.  We did a lot of laughing.
Big problem. My Kenwood will only go full speed and smoking. I have promised our hairdresser a Ginger fluff sponge for Xmas.  Don’t want to buy a new mixer as I have just spent a lot on ovens and TMX 6.  I have a small hand mixer.  Do you think I could use this? Not sure I could stand and mix for 20 minutes. The Kenwood has been fixed years ago.  Would like to keep it as it has a mincing attachment. HELP

Why could you not you use the TM6 with the butterfly attachment Chookie?  Does DD have a mixer of some sort, 20 minutes seems a long time for a hand mixer and it may not be up for the task.

I would use TM6 Chookie and do a Vinegar wash before if you think the bowl needs cleaning . Then it should be fine .
