LOL Katie. At least you don't have to worry about him falling off the roof, and don't you go up there either.  ;D

Morning all.
Warmer today, but not too bad. GC staying.
Katie, lol.
Cookie, Ral the same,  he would get up on the roof. Fortunately our AC is on wall.  If power goes out, it stops. Last year we came home from Hols and the power had been off for a day in a heat wave.

Glad AC working and your DH safe, this one would go on the roof too...... But glad to hear that not every DH is a roof hound!

So sorry to hear about the fires, as CC says it looks terrible.

Hi everyone, another hot day today but thankfully the fires seem to be under control with the exception of one part.  The people who were here were able to get home and although no power and water decided to stay home last night as there are looters reported in the area.  They borrowed a generator and have a small fridge working for milk ect.  Not sure when the power will be back on but hopefully not too long now.

Hope your feeling better now DJ.

Trudy I am pleased to hear your guests were able to return home. The very thought of looters makes me see red. I think I would feel like banging them over the head and burying them under a fruit tree. It is such a lowly thing to do.
I'm pleased the fire situation has improved slightly. We had a couple here yesterday but not as bad as yours, thank goodness.

Well I am pleased it isn't too hot today, me and my big mouth, our aircon has just died again. Oh well May to Jan - 6 months working!
Ours is a refrigerated so not on the roof although I am pretty confident  my DH wouldn't be going up anyway.  Someone coming to look Friday!

Hope your not long without the airconditioning Bedlam.  Must be a sign of getting older but I can't do without it anymore!!!

I know what you mean about the looters Cookie.  They are lower than low and I just hope the police catch them.
