I made some Blue cheese and spinach polenta for dinner then steamed and shredded a chicken breast to use for tomorrows lunch.

Today I started the Vanilla Thriller slice from FFS. Hoping it will be a special birthday cake for DH's 40th on Sunday. Have completed first three layers. Only dropped and dented one saucepan and broke one ceramic dish. No burns, chopped fingers or cuts. So a relative success so far me thinks

I too have looked at the recipe many times, but no one in this house would appreciate all the work that goes into it......so your Hubby's Birthday sounds the perfect occasion to do it
