Recipe Book Recipe Reviews / Bubble Tea review - A Taste of Asia page 25
« on: January 28, 2013, 08:29:36 am »
I just tried making the Bubble Tea recipe from A Taste of Asia and regretted it a lot. In fact, I seem to have found a recipe for super glue. It didn't work at all and created a large gooey mess that took about an hour to clean. Has anyone else made it successfully? I'd love to make it properly, but dare not try this recipe again.

Welcome, Jaimi. The TM is great for vego's, makes everything much faster. Have a look in the raw section too as some of those recipes are fantastic. :D

Welcome Pearsall! This website is the very best for recipes and information. Everyone is so helpful that its like having a demonstrator in your home. A lot of the recipes from the EDC are probably on this site anyway. Enjoy your Thermomix.

How many serves does this recipe make? My brother in law is coming for lunch tomorrow and has been told that he can't eat any animal products or alcohol, so it would be perfect.

Hi and welcome. I'm vegetarian too and use my TM all the time. The first thing I made was custard and it is fantastic!!!! Also the Lemon Ice thingy, but its probably too cold in England right now for that. I make a lot of the chicken recipes, substituting with potato sometime or just leave out. The recipes still work beautifully. Some of the recipes in Tenina Holders books are great. Visit her web site and there are heaps of free recipes. Good luck.

Thanks JudyDawn, I meant the TM jug. I might try slicing and frying it.

I've made this a couple of times and it tastes lovely - but - it is almost too thick to get out of the jug. I added lots of water, but it was still too thick. What am I doing wrong?
