Hi!
Can anyone out there give me a recipe for making butter icing with all the weights in grams (rather than in cups) please? We don't use cup measurements here in the UK.
:)

This is what ILB does for her chocolate cake tyrella
125g butter at room temperature
180g pure icing sugar
2 tblspns milk
2 tblspns cocoa
Butterfly in, speed 4, check then scrape down and mix until mixture looks right.

My butter cream recipe is
125g Butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
185g Icing Sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Same method as ILBs, throw it all in with the butterfly on speed 4 until it is whipped and smooth
Hope these are what you are looking for :)

Thanks for this ladies, I can't believe it's not in the EDC cookbook, especially as the too easy choc cake is shown iced!

Thank you!

I’ve just wizzed up faffa’s buttercream. I usually use Tenina’s Ermine frosting but I wanted this fairly quickly. It’s great
