He he, I did the same GF ;D
Hello MissesT and welcome. Great introduction. And just like a newborn, you will sit and stare at it and be too scared to touch it for a moment ;) Happy cooking :)
-
How exciting. You will be thinking what to cook instead of sleeping tonight. Welcome to the forum.
-
Thanks all for your warm welcome.
So I've just christened the new arrival with chicken Korma and Naan breads - great fun and delicious, as was the glass of wine (to wet the baby's head of of course!)
-
Whoopee, how very exciting.
Where are you from? It is an early start from here in Western Australia.
Have a happy thermomixing day.

Enjoy!

Hello and welcome MissesT, what a great christening meal! ;D There's lots of fun and delicious food in store for you :D

So I'm having a ball. Curry, risotto, chocolate mousse, naan breads (hubby loved), meringues, pasta sauce with random veg for kids (in the time it took pasta to poke on stove)...and plenty more in between. I get the idea that human nature says I may validate my decision having bought it in order to justify the expense but, being more than somewhat cynical, I can still say hand on heart it is amazing.
My children are 8 and 6 and the Thermomix has renewed and reinvigorated my efforts to provide the best for my family having got tired and bored of the catering run of the mill..... I'm having fun in the kitchen again.
-
By the way - I used to have a LOT of fun in the kitchen!
-
Sounds like you have the bug now missesT ..... Just like the rest of us ;) :D

It sounds as though everything is going well. That is very good news.
