I made Chicken Kievs. Will cook in big Sunbeam pie machine. Picked some silverbeet to have with them. I used 100 g minced chicken.
Poached mini pears.

Much healthier, Cookie. Especially as I forgot to put the garlic butter in the center. LOL. I poked a hole in the top and pressed more Panko crumbs over the top. Picked some mushrooms from the garden and grilled them. Also some silver beet.

Very inventive Chookie .
Fish pie from Cookidoo, added chopped asparagus and little peppers cooked when steaming the potatoes. Mash potatoes on top it was ready nice .

Which recipe do you use for Kiev's in the pie maker?
DH, had a night off tonight. So nice to have a meal together on a week night.

Michele I made up the recipe for the Kiev’s. I wanted 100 g of chicken in each so for 300 g of chicken I added, 3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs, 1 egg, green onion tops, 1 smashed clove of garlic and a slug of sweet chilli sauce. Mixed in TMX. Set them up in the fridge and then dipped them in Panko crumbs. Freeze small disks of garlic butter to place in middle of Pattie before setting up in fridge. I heated the pie maker so it was very hot. Sprayed well with olive oil and cooked underside with lid down until I could see it was well brown. Then turned over. These were cooked a large Sunbeam pie machine.

I swapped what I had planned for dinner today and had the chicken roast for lunch as I had a sudden craving for something tuna. I sautéd some onion, red capsicum and mushrooms in the TMX then placed them on the bottom of a casserole dish. I steamed a bunch of broccoli, cut it into short lengths and added that to the other veggies in the dish. Flaked a large can of tuna over the top then made a low fat version of cheese sauce and poured that over the top. Finished it with a topping of low carb crushed crisp bread & a small amount of Parmesan. It was surprisingly very tasty and a change from the old tuna mornay, I would most certainly make it again. I’ll add a picture after I have another serve sometime tomorrow.
