We have annual scopes and the secret is 'apple juice' 2-3 liters before lunch on fast day and I'm virtually set. Drink apple juice on a non fast day and body thinks long and hard about it.

I am back again, and all is ok after the colonoscopy.  I had had the bowel scan and it can back positive.  Thank you all for those lovely good wishes and yes it is the prep and all that water which is the worse part.  This time I had to diet for 2 days .. no fiber, then one day with just fluids.  This time a took a different prep which was a lot easier to take. Instead of making up several liters of the prep, this one was just 1 cups of the prep taken 1, 5, 9pm and many cups of water with it.
Nearly 2kgs lighter, what a way to lose weight!

Now what I am going to eat tonight??

I must have spoken too soon when I said I don't mind taking the prep.  A letter arrived in the mail yesterday telling me it is time for my next colonoscopy.  My how those last two years have flown :D :D

That is great new Kayc (and not so good for Mab19 - but now you can let us know when and we will all be thinking of you too).  Hmmm - come to think of it my reminder letter must be due soon.  My reminder letter is my brother who insists I have it done.  My Mum had a lttle go around with bowel cancer (got it early) and now by brother is having pre cancerous polyps removed on a reasonably regular basis.

Deniser I had my first polyps removed many years ago. The best fun after it was telling my brothers that they should go and be checked too. They still grump at me when they go many years later. In a very nice way of course.
