Suggestions and Complaints / The advertisements on the pages

Hi all...  Been away for a while.
Probably a silly question, but do you have any control over the adverts on the right hand side of the page?  I keep finding recipes I want to try but on certain pages there is the ad about the abuse of bears in the wild, with a picture, and even though I put my hand over it I find it upsetting..  Probably dumb, I'm sorry, but I can't cope with animal abuse..

Kind regards
curly

That sounds amazing, plus I always wonder in a lot of the recipes if using the whisk is ok or a possibility to move things around more..  Not many members mention it..

No sadly..  I'm nursing her through terminal cancer which although she's a 26 year 2 time survivor, this 3rd time it's a matter of time..  I've taken a lot of my appliances down there to make it easier for me to cook, I just cannot deal with pots and pans anymore, can't believe I haven't lugged thermie down yet because when I have some home time I want it here too...LOL

I make a cheat of my mums best curried tuna and spaghetti that is my childhood favorite.. She's spends about 45 minutes making it with pots and pans.  I boil the kettle, put half a bag of macaroni into the thermo server and leave until done.  I make a cheesy, lots of curry powder and lemon juice white sauce in the thermie, after chopping onion and garlic first.  By the time that's done I chuck in the tuna including juice and just let it mix a bit and then bung all a casserole dish and mix, add cheese on top and put in pre heated oven until golden and bubbly..  Takes no time at all and no standing there stirring!

This looks absolutely delicious.  I've been absent for a while but checked out the posts and have read this one for 2 days.  I can't find my frozen fish but I do have chicken, I have frozen prawns and I have tinned tuna.l I'm just going to have to experiment..

Recipe Requests / chicken or beef stock 'paste'
« on: December 18, 2012, 12:01:25 am »
Hi,
If someone could assist I'd appreciate it.
I've searched for the stock recipes but can't seem to find what I'm after.
My 2nd stock I ever made was the chicken paste and I can't find the recipe or know even where I got it from but it was lovely and I'd like to make it again AND beef stock paste.
Many thanks in advance.

Jams and Chutneys / Re: Meganjane's Tasty Chutney.

haha!  I'm making this now but used the recipe that was in amongst the mince meat curry thread, it had the ingredients but not too many instructions and my bowl was overflowing by the time I got to half of the onions!!  I had to tip out and do a bit of chopping half bowl at a time till I could fit everything in.
Then did the varoma temp speed 2 or 3 for the first 30 minutes and made one heck of a mess so I decided to get on here and see if it was in the condiment sections for comments and hints and tips.  lol.  should have done that first!!
