You've all been very busy. I did nothing yesterday apart from dinner. Today I have plans for a Classic Loaf, some macadamia and white chocolate shortbread (RTE) and to start a SD loaf to put in the fridge overnight.

Still experimenting with Pie Maker.   These were made with 1/3 packet of Low Sugar Chocolate Cake Mix.  Made 4.  Tasted ok but I don’t like cake mixes.
Next I will try the TMX recipe.

Don’t EVER make Cake Mix cup cakes in the pie maker.
This was made with 1/2 recipe of Quicker than a cake mix.  It behaved well in piemaker and tasted %100 better.
Bake 15 minutes

Judy, I was interested as the mixtures are quite different.
I have ordered a K Mart pie maker as it makes Party pies. $29.
I will now have 3 but they are all different.  I will do a comparison.

Chookie the quicker than a packet mix looks much nicer.  I will get some cream today and keep it in the freezer, hope it isn't too watery when thawed.

I made some biscuits called Granny's Weet Bix biscuits yesterday, not many left now. :-))

Thanks for all the testing Chookie, we know what to do now. Margaret those biscuits sound nice.
I have made the SD batard today and I'm trying a SD that only starts with 10g of starter. I started yesterday morning and it is so cold here that it isn't doing much at all.

Mab, when you thaw the cream you might have to beat it as the water separates.
I think I have developed an intolerance to gluten.  S..t. I have been sampling too many of my experiments.
Not to be put off, I made some gluten free, Lemon Feather Cakes in the Pie Machine. ( posted).
1/2 recipe made 6 large cup cakes. Baked for 15 minutes.

Ouch, that isn't good Chookie.
The SD that uses 10g of starter took 36 hours to be good for baking. DH called it Jarlsberg bread as it had holes in it. He really likes it.
Macadamia biscuits and the SD that used 10g of starter.
