I've had a look in my manual and it doesn't actually say what the problem is but it says
"Error messages of the appliance can be reset as follows
1. By pulling the mains plugs
     E.r 23, 28,32, 38,39, 70"

Unfortunately they don't tell us what the error numbers mean Welly but I'd you do what CC has suggested and if it's still showing the error then I would remove the bowl for the night and check it again in the morning.  How old is your machine, are you a new owner?

Last week I had flashing symbols and numbers but I left it overnight and it was fine next morning.

Let us know how it is tomorrow but if it doesn't settle down perhaps you could ring your consultant.

Sorry I am unable to help either. It may be a good idea to give your consultant a call and discuss it with them.

Hi, cannot use the scales at the  moment. Just comes up Error 67. Has anyone else had this error, and can it be fixed. Thanks  :)

I've just checked the book and on page 40 it says error 51-69 can be reset by turning the speed selector to open lid and then to closed lid.
Hope this helps.
The troubleshooting page in the Instruction Manual is quite good.
