Hello I thought iWould share this simple recipe it is probably already described here anyway.
Ingredients
2 to 4 oranges
2 to 4 apples
2 bananas
some ginger
500 grams
Well I blended the oranges and apples to a smooth paste.
Next I cut up as much ginger as I wished, half I think, A lot.
Blend the ginger in.
I added 500 grams of pure water.
Blend again.
Now this is thick! and it is very very gingery.
So I put the thick paste in a bottle, glass.
and I pour half the thick paste into a glass and add another half of purified water. 50/ 50.
Stir with a spoon woolah it is nice! and super healthy! Good stuff that tastes great and makes you well!
Enjoy!

Do you remove the orange skin? Sounds amazing!

Made this tonight and it is a lovely, refreshing drink. Thanks for the posting snag.
Threw in 2 peeled oranges, 1 very large banana, 1 unpeeled Golden Delicious apple, 4cm peeled and sliced fresh ginger and 250g ice-cubes. Blended 1 min/speed 9 then added 250g water and mixed 1 min/speed 9. Just a subtle hit of ginger with each sip.

Tried a Ginger Ninja at Sisterfields in Seminyak. It was so good went back for seconds but the Ginger buzz just was not there the second time around
Cannot wait until we get home so I can try this recipe in our TM31 - IF IT STILL WORKS.
The Ginger Ninja had some carrot but your recipe sounds good and just as healthy as Judy's recipe.
Have been thinking I would need to buy a Ninja juicer, didn't think the TM31 would do the job well enough.

Great news that you can use the thermomix TM_Ted.. I'm sure it will still work for you!
-
Nice to see you posting Ted, I hope your TM31 still works LOL.
-
Unable to say it is 100%. It has been to Windsor Gardens twice, technician claims we are breaking it. So sick of working around the error message that it barely gets used any more. We are so sorry we gave all the appliances it should have replaced away. Would never buy another TM.
-
That is horrid. Did the technician say how you were breaking it? He should have told you so that you can not do it! If you ever were.
-
No we were never told what was breaking, just that we were breaking it. Wife had trouble ever since we bought it, she couldn't get the lid to lock. It was better but she still has trouble so just doesn't use it. Potatoes now always boiled in a saucepan and mashed with a masher and rice is cooked on the cooktop in a saucepan. Only thing I use it for is boiling eggs. It is a most expensive egg boiler.
Then there is the psychological aspect, Robyn Wilkinson really gave me a hard time. In my 70 years only 3 people who I regret having any contact with and she is one of them.

Not very pleasant Ted.

Tried this recipe (Thank you Judy) and it was great, the ginger was just a tad low for Pam and I
We suspect the drink we had in Bali may have been made with some Carrots.
To give it a bit more zip I mixed 1/2 glass Judy's mix and 1/2 glass Schweppes Diet Dry Ginger.
Gave it just the zip I was looking for.
Thanks again Judy.
-
That's wonderful that you worked it out Ted.
-
Yes, our tastes are all different and you can usually throw anything in to liven things up a bit.
