Title: Our Thermomix arrived today Wacko
Post by: peterseaford on January 23, 2014, 04:51:28 am
well its here and the consultant has gone - just made us fresh lemonade and it was beautiful.

Reading the cook book and off to buy cream to make butter - at NQR they have 12 x 300 ml for $1.20 good enough to learn with.

Have a great day and we are planning a big pav for Australia day - will try Woolies for egg whites

kind regards to all

peter

Good start, if you are like the rest of us you will never stop using this fabulous machine, I just made 18 Cornish pasties,  made the pastry in the Thermomix and the veggies took no time at all to wizz up , such a pleasure to use.

Welcome to the Forum  You are certainly off to a flying start. I use my Thermie every day and love it.  Not too busy today but made Red Lentil soup and pastry for pies and have custard all mixed ready to cook and pour over the fruit pies.  Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks everybody - am really enjoying our Maxi - made Baileys Irish Cream and the Mud Cake - that was beaut. Made devilled sausages , steamed chicken and vegetables, leak and potato soup , vegetable soup , stock , bread , rolls , tomato relish , creme brulee, several dips and butter so with your help am off to a good start.
It is such a pleasure to use as everything works so well.
Training my finger not to reduce everything to a pulp - so easily done but still tastes good anyway.
Reading all your recipes and will eventually try them all.

kindest regards and thanks again

peter

Great cooking ... I still overdo some things & end up with pulp 😄 good fun learning though
