That's great to hear everyone! I have only used crasins and tanas too but maybe if the berry were frozen berries it might worrk - let us know if you do it!  ;)

Taking the opportunity of cold snap to use a ham hock in the freezer to make pea and ham soup. Thought is was too late for soups but boy, is it cold today! Also made mango chutney, strawberry jam (from the last of the strawberries this season), apricot jam and preserved some peaches. 8)

I made this again today following this recipe - it was far too lemony (not like last time) So even though this is the original recipes measure I would only put in a squeeze (20-40g) of lemon so the apricotty flavour comes through. My sister still loved it but I know how yummy the last batch was.  :-))
