I loved the CousCous. It took a little while fluffing it up with the fork before adding the Veges. Did I do something wrong? Thought I might put in an extra bit of butter next time to help free up the grains. Moisture content seemed OK to me.

I agree with you Ted, but got there in the end. Try the extra butter and see how that goes.  You need to have it in a large bowl to give yourself plenty of room to move and fluff up.  It reheats so well too which was surprising.

No reheating required here. With 6 adults and a 10 year old it all went. Only had 1kg of Beef, would have been much better with at least 1.5kg for that number of people.

Only just caught up on the posts from the last few days. Thanks for the new couscous recipe JD. It sounds really yummy as well. I notice the posts about fluffing the couscous and was wondering whether the couscous could be soaked in the TM and then mix on reverse to fluff????

Didn't think of that idea Twitterpated, certainly worth a try.  It may be a while before I do couscous again as we are all couscous'd out for the time being so perhaps someone else could give it a try and report back in so that I can alter the recipe.
Thanks for the advice.

I used this as the basis for my couscous tonight. Added some Harissa paste (recipe on 2012 calendar) and only did sweet potato. Served with grilled Harissa chicken and carrot/orange purée. Yum. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Shellakabooki, welcome to the forum with your first posting.  Glad you enjoyed my recipe, had forgotten I'd even made it  :-))
