TL, There is a recipe for Kaya Jam on this forum.  Not sure if it is the same as the one in the cookbook though.

I have sent an email to True Mix to find out availability & cost of the cookbook so will post the details when I get a response.  I lived in Singapore for 4 years and regularly popped over the border to Malaysia - love Malaysian food!

Katie is going to post a couple of random recipes to give you an idea of what this book is like.  She sent me the contents list as a word document which is much bigger than a pdf so I have now listed everything in the first posting.  If anyone has this book and has tried some of the recipes can you please do a review so that I can then link for you.

This book came with the machine so if you to try any recipes I can certainly post them for you.
I have confused Judy when I post my dish as Chicken Rice with Watercress soup instead of 3-in-1 cooking (Chicken+Rice+Miso Soup). Sorry Judy but that is what the dish it call Chicken Rice as to why watercress? That is because we like watercress.
The Kaya Jam sounds good Vieve I will try that out Thanks. the one on the TM book is not bad too but I was not too impress with it. I can post it if you want to compare.

I received a reply from True Mix on the cost of the cookbook and here is the reply:

"The price of  True Mix Malaysian cookbook is RM85 and the air-parcel post charge to Sydney is RM33.50, hence the total cost is RM118.50".  I think this equates to approx $35 including postage.

JD, hoping it is OK to put the pricing details on the forum - if not, let me know and I will delete it.

I have this book - I bought it on ebay and it didn't cost me much at all (but it was before the prices for Thermomix books on ebay went through the roof).

I haven't made much out of the book, but this is a reflection on me not the book!  I have lots & lots of books that I've never cooked anything out of.

I'll post a couple of randomly selected recipes soon.  Maybe I'll even cook them  ;D

Vieve, pricing details for TMX products is acceptable - this rule only applies to competitor products.

Can i still get hold of the book? Judy, help! U know I love Asian food. The family lives on this. I tried cooking my own dishes but would love the Malaysian book as the Aussie EDC not really our type of everyday food. I've already bought the Asian book but Malaysian food closer to heart.

I have a copy of Malaysian TM cookbook. Trying to scan it into PDF. It's too big to email but I can share it using Dropbox.

Hope I'm not committing an offence here...

Is someone able to send me a copy of the 3-in-1 recipes, particularly involving miso soup. It's something I'd like to try.
