It is very cold here today so I decided to try and fix the Raspberry jelly that turned out like sauce.
( this was really just an excuse so I wouldn't have to go outside and help Ral put a roof over the chook shed. ).
Made 9 jar of jam.

That's funny Chookie. I have used the same thing at times.

DH went to the doctor this morning as he has been limping round for about 5 weeks. The doctor said he has mild sciatica and not to lift anything heavy. Mmmmm, I wonder how long that will last?  I will be watching him.

Good luck with that cookie, what's he supposed to do - call you when he wants to lift anything heavy LOL.  I hope his problem improves soon, you'll find it hard keeping your good man down.

Cookie, how inconvenient for DH. Has he tried wheat heat bags. .?
Was looking forward to day in the garden but it is going to rain. Don't mind the cold but not the rain while gardening.
Looks like it will have to do some baking instead.  ;D

Cookie take him to a remedial massage therapist.
Sciatica is very easy to treat, and he will be up and going again in 30 minutes. ;D

Yes thanks Chookie, he is into the wheat bags. How do I know a remedial massage therapist Please Robyn? How do they cure it so quickly?

I'm off to a physio this afternoon to see if he can help me with my hip/ back/ leg. It gave me what for while we were away. It can't hurt.

Cookie, sorry to hear DH is suffering with sciatica. The best thing that always fixed mine on several occasions is getting on the floor and doing a series of stretches. Most sciatica probs originate in the lower back I was told. The physio gave me stretches to do years ago and when I feel any stiffness or twinges I get onto the stretching right away. Always helps.
Unfortunately most men are not good at doing this for themselves.

Thought it wasn't going to rain today, but it has hardly stopped.
Made a chicken dish from Diana Henry's book, A Bird in the Hand.
Also ordered a new chook feeder.
