Your strawberries look good, Cookie.  I saw a film clip on the internet yesterday of a strawberry grower dumping lorry loads of strawberries because they were unsaleable.  It just makes me sick and so angry to think that someone would put needles in fruit and all the poor strawberry growers are suffering - as if it's not tough enough being a farmer in Australia with droughts, floods, fires and now needles.  GRRR, so very angry  >:(

Ditto Marina. What makes me cross is that many must be copy cat acts.

I've made a Classic Loaf today with 50g oatbran and 50g of Wholemeal flour and added seeds towards the end. DH and D D prefer this loaf.

I have just put  a date loaf in the oven.  A new recipe, hope it works.

I need to make a cake this afternoon. I'm thinking of trying a steamed cake.

Yesterday made 21 jars of Apple and Raspberry jam.  I made it in the TMX.  It is easier than in one big pot on the stove.  It took 5 batches of cooking once I had worked out amount/ time/ temperature/ speed.

Thanks Judy.  What I like about the TMX is that it is so predictable once you work out the timing and temperature.
Made Spaghetti Bol sauce.  The recipe with the Golden Syrup and cinnamon. ( posted)

I made a steamed marble cake the other day. It’s all gone so I will do something else tomorrow.

I didn’t like the sound of a steamed cake,  but that looks good.

DD was looking forward to it as she likes the steamed cakes in Asia.
Today I made the Cauliflower soup, Classic loaf and a Peanut butter and choc chip slice.
