Great recipe. Both my daughter and I loved it. Not too sweet. I forgot to set aside the milled almonds and sesame seeds but it didn't seem to matter.  The batter seemed thick and dry but the finished product turned out lovely.  I baked in a normal cupcake pan. One batch made 11 cupcakes. They were ready in 20mins.  I will be making these again.  Next time I will try 1/2 wholemeal SR flour and add a little extra milk.

Apple, almond and maple. What flavours together, yummy. It looks like another reason to get this book.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Another thumbs up here :)
DD (age 2) ate 5 of these in a row! I ran out of maple syrup so used agave syrup instead.
Like Aleisha I'll substitute 1/2 or more wholemeal flour too, and maybe add some chia seeds.

This book is great! -everything I've made has been delicious!

I made these again this morning. With the following changes:
-I doubled the quantity and didn't need to adjust any times etc.
-I used half wholemeal flour and half white flour
-I added two tablespoons of white chia seeds
-Used regular sized muffin pans, made 23

Highly recommended :) For a more adult version (remember this recipe is from the 9-12months section), you might consider adding something for more texture, or processing the almonds and sunflower seeds at the start for slightly less time. I'm also into grating zucchini and adding it to muffins at the moment, so I might try that next time too.
