Do you know what the streaming advert at the top of this post is at this moment ... "The Power of CAN". Very apt - even the advertisers are behind you Mandi!
Ha ha, there was a Quit Smoking ad a moment ago. Definitely got the advertisers support Dede - good luck!

Welcome to the forum Rhu. How long have you had your Thermie?

I did a version of Tenina's Festive Spicy Pork Belly for dinner tonight - used her Festive Spicy Salt as a rub and her dipping sauce - but cooked it very differently to her recipe in the Merry Christmix cookbook. I put the pork into a hot oven (250ºC) for about 10-15min, then dropped the temperature to continue cooking for another 45-50 minutes. Finally I used the grill to crisp up the crackling. Really delicious and I didn't waste a drop of precious wine in the cooking

Hi Minda, Welcome to the forum. I too have pretty much ditched my TMX spatula and now use my Tupperware silicone spatulas pretty much all the time with Thermie. Can highly recommend them.

I made these for christmas and although I thought they were OK they didn't receive rave reviews compared to the family shortbread recipe. No one rushed back for seconds....

Great cookie pops Maddy (as always).
I have some mint slices and tim tams so thought i'd make some of these today. Don't think I'll put them on sticks - will probably just make them look like little christmas puddings instead.

Congratulations on the birth of Jackson MF - he is beautiful. Sounds like you have a busy christmas ahead.

Thanks for posting this Kimmy. I've just made a jar for my niece for christmas. I didn't have enough room in my jar for the walnuts but I don't think she will care too much (as long as the chocolate is included).

Jen, I am jealous of the fact that you have finished your christmas shopping. I am struggling this year.

Thanks CC, Kimmy and Amy, I am glad it is now almost finished. It was my first ever mosaic project but maybe not my last. Next time I will do something on a flat surface as some of the curves of the pot proved challenging. Once it grouted I will post a photo of the finished product.
Amy, that is great that you made a pot for your nana and grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary. Have you got a photo to share?

I'm happy because I just finished putting the final tile on my mosaic pot - now it just needs to dry for 24hrs before I grout it. I think my mum might be getting it as a christmas present after all.

Welcome Odette. I've only had my Thermie for about 2 1/2 months but i think I've done more cooking in that time than I have in the past 2 years. Sounds like you are already loving your new toy. Enjoy and do share any recipes you have converted.
