made this tonight, I didn't think there was going to be enough sauce so I added another 1 and a half cups of water at the start of the cooking process, had to add cornflour at the end to thicken the sauce, wife loved it, 19 moth old daughter loved the sauce with rice,,, happy days

Followed the recipe to a T, turned out beautiful love the flavour..... I made the meatballs early in the morning then sauce just before dinner, so quick and simple....

Hi there,

Wow sorry for not replying to my own thread!

Yes I have the book it's great I do cook from there, My little one loves the sausage rolls, the salmon cakes, the sweet potato sheppards pie....

However I guess I was more after something that the whole family can eat (that is 18month old friendly) ....... Since posting this thread I got my butt into gear and have printed a few recipes and started a menu plan for the week!

Hi, I had no idea I had to update my EDC ?? it was printed in march 2011 :( , Do I need to call my thermomix lady and get a newer one? PS Why didn't she sell me a new one :(

Hahaha. I forget too, Chookie.

Made a simple and popular street food from Penang for lunch. Koay Teow Theng - literally, flat rice noodles soup. Fish balls made from snapper completely in the thermie :D

Very comforting on such a cold Saturday.
