Apart from the explosion, the loaf looks good, Fundj.  How does it taste?

That's an interesting tin Uni, a pipe loaf tin without the ridges.  I think perhaps you had too much dough in there and some wanted to get out  ;D I love those loaves, your tin is far bigger than mine.

Chookie would be the one to advise how much dough Uni but not too much managed to get out so I daresay 100g would be enough to reduce it.

DH loves it when my pipe loaves 'explode' or tins with lids leak out. He enjoys the crunchy pieces that are created.
Fundj I think it looks pretty good.

DH was trying to liven up a cauliflower puree with some blue cheese (the type with a dark ash rind). Of course, blue/black and white make a mysterious grey.
One of those 'close your eyes and eat it' moments. It tasted great but looked like wet concrete  :o

fundj, can I recommend you go to your doctor and get a blood test for your thyroid, iron levels, and a few more other things etc
I have procratinated for so long and have just "treated"myself to doing this and have been called back for an appointment on Tuesday to discuss the results. Next thing after that is a mammogram - what a treat!

Another thing to think of is "menopause"....think my body is umming and aaring about this and throwing a few things out of whack than normal.

This one's to make you feel better Fundj.  Only a blind man would be happy to see it.  I'm going to call it Pavlova Crumble.  Serve crumbled over your favorite filling. :o

Well it looks like I am back to serving Dessert in the dark again.  I have got my trusty bottle of wine at the ready.

Cheers, Nola.
