Perhaps Chookie.  I have never posted in this thread (well, not that I remember anyway) but making Chookie's quiche today was almost a disaster.  Luckily it was an almost full 600 mls of cream or I may not have managed to get a cupful for the recipe.  If I had poured the cream in first it wouldn't have happened but hindsight is always too late  :-))  I had cleaned quite a bit up before thinking to take a photo.

Oh Kak! The thing is just when you think it's all cleaned up there is that bit of a dribble or streak you missed.

Hopefully cream is not sticky.

I used my orange scented 'spray & wipe',  scraping the cream up was the hardest part.

Oh dear, you poor thing Judy.  Well I made two batches of fudge yesterday and one has gone in the bin!  The first batch was cookies and cream and I couldn't work out why it was so stiff.  I forgot to put the butter in :.  It tastes really nice, so I am going to blitz it up and use as sprinkles over icecream, cheescake etc.  The 2nd batch I used dark chocolate and peppermint essence, but I added the essence at the end instead of at the beginning and it seemed to set outside the fudge.  Looked yucky, even though it did taste ok.

I was cooking lentils last night and in another pot some orange rind in sugar syrup. DH was playing Rod Stewart singing "Let it Snow" as a joke and I was so distracted that I put salt in with the oranges instead of the lentils. Luckily not much so final outcome not affected.

No offense to those who love Rod Stewart singing christmas songs  ;D

CP, you can't fail with a name like CreamPuff - choux pastry was named after you  ???
