I'm feeling a bit weary today so it's just sausage rolls, chips & peas tonight.

We’re having a beef casserole tonight. I called at the Italian shop yesterday and bought some white asparagus, purple Brussel sprouts and runner beans. I don’t like the beans the supermarkets have.

I did wonder about turning the microwave on, K Atie!  Have you tried using heated wheat bags or hot water bottles?

No marina it’s my go to . For keeping all meals warm in the thermo servers but lasts longer by doing this with no effort.

I’ve made a smoked cod and creamed corn mornay to try tonight. Mum used to make it and I hated it as a kid but enjoyed it as an adult once a year. Will I still like it now is the question though!

Update, yes it was rather nice.
