Chookie - that is very exciting if the sale goes through so quickly.  A six month settlement is a pain, but as long as it is all legal, the money is secure and the buyers cannot back out it gives you the time to find a new home - you could always offer to go and 'house sit' for the next 6 months!  My fingers are well and truly crossed that all will work out perfectly come summer.

Wow Chookie, what a surprise that must have been when you were expecting much longer than that.  Must have been love at first sight for the prospective buyers.

Wonderful news Chookie. Something to cross off the list. Friends Here are selling their house for much the same price, it has views of the river and city but they are battling. It is only on a suburban size block and quite a small home.

I did my grocery shopping this morning.

I saw my ENT Oncologist today, after 2 years of scans I’m cancer free. No more scans unless I feel something is not right but I’ll still have 6 monthly appointments with my specialist.

Judy so pleased for you , happy dance .
Chookie wow that’s great hope it all goes well .
Marina what a lot to deal with well done .
Managed to get to the dentist, step one for next crown , bonus saw DD again and picked her up from work , so a bit of late night driving for her . Got to GP , who said I had fluid on my ear , thus the water noise . Antibiotics for me . So back on all my vitamin C and hope I get better. Home to DH and farm work , moved sheep across the road ( a easy crossing ) , helped DH with more sheep moving .

Thanks K Atie, it’s a load off my mind for sure.
Good to hear you made it to the dentist and I’m sure the antibiotics will fix your ear problem.

Went to see " Hamilton" last night with my sister who is down from Brisbane for a few days and cousins over from NZ visiting for a few days as well.  The show was amazing, the cast, singing, dancing, costumes were fantastic ... the only negative was that it was incredibly loud and I found it difficult to follow some parts, but well worth going.

Judy that is truly wonderful news. I’m also pleased you will see your specialist every 6 months. He will spot ant problems before you feel them.
I’m exhausted reading what you have been up to KAtie.
Marina it must be lovely to have family visiting. Enjoy it.

I’ve done very little today. Had to fit in lots of walking so that I could achieve the goal my Apple Watch had set for me. Only 0.9km to go. 😀😀😀😀😀😀

today DH DS and I did a ag college open day early start and great to do on site . DH decided to do a longer way home to just see the country side ! In fact I’d have to say we use to do this a lot but not since Covid . You get the feel of how dry it is believe it or not . Although we came through some rain it is unreal how so many crops are so ahead , it just gets earlier each year . ( last night was a very long frost so we may be ok but others who planted a lot earlier might be in trouble , only time will tell. ) Tomorrow we have a sheep field day to go to .

My oven racks needed a bit of a clean after roasting some vegetables.  They weren't really dirty but need to be cleaned.  I found a helpful hint on the internet how to clean your oven racks.   Just soak them in the bath with a dish washer tablet and hot water for a couple of hours and then give them a bit of a scrub.  I don't have a bath so used a large garbage bag out on the lawn.   It worked well and they are now nice and clean.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Great idea Marina. Using the bag is a much better idea than the bath, it would need much less water to cover the racks.

K Atie these days wth the price of petrol we tend to go straight home not via anything so I’m sure you enjoyed the little trip today to check out the countryside.
