It’s been cool over here and I needed to hurry my fruit loaf up. I popped it into the oven with a bowl of boiling water. Later I turned the oven on to cook tea.  Yes I forgot the fruit loaf. The shower cap came off easily so I hope the loaf is ok, apart from being a bit raw in the centre.

You are too nice Chookie. This morning when I was feeding my starter I added too much flour. while I was chatting to DH. That was easily fixed.

Here I am with another oops. I made some shortcrust pastry for last night’s quiche. When I’d finished it I thought that it looked a bit dry so added some more water. Popped it into the fridge to rest. When I was rolling it out it seemed dry. I finished the quiche and cooked it. YUK. I hadn’t put very much water in at all. It was crumbly and tasted horrid. I later realised that I had spilled the water container, not put it into the thermomix bowl.
I must be more careful. Some lovely butter wasted and the quiche is hardly edible. The pastry looked reasonable but certainly wasn’t.
Oh well. 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Oh dear ... oooopppsss indeed!!

Another oops here .  Was showing a friend how I use the TMX to make Jam. Turned it into Blood Orange Paste. We did a taste test with some nice cheese. Very good. I could have added water and turned it back into jam but decided it was very good.
