No, neighbors have gone away on holiday for a few more weeks yet and my girl friends are married which would mean having to have 1 or 2 couples over. I would feel like a third wheel. Usually there would be 1 or 2 of my kids around, but they are off on holidays. I have some small frozen meals tucked away in the fridge that I could've eaten, but I was planning on giving them to my DD2 to take back with her next week. Its nothing really, at least I'm eating...repetitively  :D

Cream Puff, just freeze whatever you have in to portion sizes. You need your son at home :)

Bys are great eaters :)

DH turned his nose up when I said I was making beef stroganoff so instead we had - braised beef with a creamy mushroom sauce, potato/pumpkin mash, caramelised squash, carrots and beans.  :D

Mussels with a coconut curry sauce.  First time I've done mussels in the TMX.  So easy.

That's sounds so good JD but I wouldn't get away with that in my house when DH is home. Things like that I keep for when he is on shift work ;D

Alyce Alexander's chicken tenderloins and chilli mayonnaise from the low carb cookbook.  Didn't have wheatgerm or sunflower seeds. Used almonds, sesame seeds and pepitas instead.  A nice change from boring breadcrumbs.
