Cookie, the Haighs chocolates have got very expensive.  $10 or a small bag. I love it when you go into the shop that they give you a sample.  They are Rals Favourite chocolates.
Not so cold and no rain. Spring?

Denise do you have to make any changes in the garden for the build?
We had a wet weekend and it is raining today. We are still way behind on our average rainfall, despite lots of wet days. We are now allowed to use our sprinklers again.

Feel for you Cookie.
Everyone enjoyed the Black Forest Cake.  It was a bit of a disaster but  I stuck it together with lots of cream. I used 2 tins of Cherries and frozen ones for the top. Fresh cherries are available at $38 a kilo.  Told Ral he wasn’t worth that much ;D
We had sun today but it has turned cold.

The garden will look different Cookie but we don’t need permission to change the layout.

It’s a cloudy day here today but no rain ( so far)

How is everything going with your build, CC?  Has it started yet?  Is it total demolition or renovation / extension?

We are still on track for handover, in fact, maybe a little sooner than the date we were given last week.  The carpet layers have just arrived.  If all goes to schedule we will finish 3 months ahead of plan!  Apparently, this is almost unheard of but we had a really good start weather wise and neightbours were all very helpful with access, etc. so there were very few hold ups.

That certainly helps Marina. We built this house at the height of the building rush and despite having to wait for the bricks we wanted we got the keys 2 months before the scheduled date. I think it helps when there are helpful people round.

Good morning everyone.   9deg here this morning.  Had an 8.30am appointment today for a ultra sound, checking for gall stones.

I had a lovely day out yesterday.  Went to a friends house 3 towns away and 3 of us spent the day sewing.  My sewing mojo has been missing for nearly 2 years now so it was great to have a get together and do some sewing as well as lots of talk.

That sounds lovely Margaret. I hope your ultra sound helps solve things for you.
It was something like 1.9* here this morning. A lovely sunny day now though. DD and I are going to see our footy team play tonight in the first preliminary final. I do hope we win.
