Yes it’s ridiculous Marina but I guess if something goes wrong they’ve covered themselves.
Bad timing indeed, especially the loo problem. You’re keen inviting 2 different lots of visitors on the same day, not surprised they overlapped.
Marina, I was looking through quirky cooking’s recipe book Quirky Cooking the other day, do you have it?

Packed up lunch for DH DS ! Ham sourdough sandwich for DH steak brioche rolls DS . Ginger slice and a drink . DS added corn chips and salsa . Big water carriers ! All for a short hard go at harvesting the oats , before the rain again. I have done lots of washing as it’s very hot , but still the humidity is so heavy. Picked a few enormous figs .

Yes, I do have Quirky Cooking's recipe book (but had forgotten about it), now that you have reminded me I must get it out again and have a look through it.  Did you find any interesting recipes?

No, it’s not what I’d eat Marina. I would have given you my copy if you didn’t have it.

Oh Marina that would have been a horrible problem. Judy hopefully your cataract surgery goes well. I’m thrilled with mine.
Yesterday DD and I went shopping. She had a few things to do as she mentioned she hadn’t been shopping for about a month.

Thanks cookie, I’ll be happy if I can see who the players are on the other side of the ground which is something I can’t do now.

That is a very lovely thought, Judy.  Thank you for thinking of me and had I not already had the book I would have been delighted to have received the one from you.  :)

Spending a lot of time cleaning out the cupboard in the sewing room.  There are things in the top of the cupboard that have not seen the light of day since we moved here almost 11 years ago.  Time for all to go.

Our new air con should be going in soon, so it's time for a bit of re organisation. I'm the Club Registrar this year again so now I'm chasing people for membership subs. To be honest it's worse than chasing the kids at school for money for excursions etc. These people are adults and should remember. However that's people I guess.

DH is about to be asked to become treasurer of the Australian association for his trade - your email doesn't bode well, Cookie, for his future peace of mind.

Up early to do a bit of gardening. My raised beds have filled up nicely and the one tomato bush has dozens of small green tomatoes on it.  I’ve just ordered lots of seeds from Diggers for the remaining of the year. Because I’m a member, I get 8 packets of free seeds from a limited selection so added a few extras.
Making a batch of jam in TMX. 2 cartons of strawberries makes 2 medium sized jars. Not much but beautiful.

Marina perhaps your DH’s group will be better than vintage car enthusiasts. They seem to leave it to the last minute and then forget.

Like Mab I did my grocery shopping today.
