You're living the high life out in the donga cookie.  I love sitting around campfires at night.

Had a visit to the St Kilda Tram Museum with Probus today, first time I've ever been there.  It was interesting seeing the old buses and trams we used to travel on when we were young.  A short hop, step and jump to the St Kilda Hotel for lunch.  Could not believe how good our lunches were for a measly $5, no wonder the place was packed.  Choices ranged from battered fish, salt & pepper calamari (which I chose and it melted in our mouths), bangers & mash, chicken salad and bolognaise penne. A perfect sized meal for senior citizens, not too large and certainly not too small - it was delicious and I'll certainly be telling my friends to check this place out, especially if they live in the northern suburbs.

Maddy, your transition from dirty old dresser to display cupboard is awesome, well done.
Cookie, I wouldn't argue with that bull, I would have been back in the car and out of there quick smart.
Boring grocery shopping today, and dentist for check and clean tomorrow. Not a very exciting week at all.

We are now in Katherine in the Northern Territory. It's quite hot. We had a bush camp at Victoria River last night. Beautiful scenery but not much else. We stay here until Tuesday morning when the rally moves to Darwin. There are heaps of people in town here for the rally.
When we were in Kununurra we had a beautiful spot to stay.  The first photo is of the beautiful place we were invited to stay a couple of nights ago. These lovely people own a magnificent property out on the river. Not only were we invited to stay they fed us.
The second photo is of the scenery around Victoria River. It's truly awesome.

Thanks all. It was so lovely this morning not having to pack up and move on. We spent 11 days on the road. When we travel alone we usually pull over for a big stop quicker than that, but moving slowly with the old car takes time. We are here now though.
The caravan park has heaps of Model A's in. Some with mobile homes and some with tents and driving their cars. Several from the East have broken down too.

The broken foot isn't too bad thanks Marina as it is being rested. It did swell last night as i did a bit of walking. The hip/leg doesn't like sitting and the nerves catch a bit when I walk around after a day in the car. Today should be better. Just an old crock I think. 😄😄😄😄😄😄

Cookie great to hear you are coping ok with the foot.
Today we visited the Creswick Farmers Market. Well worth a visit although no swap table.
I bought 3 raffle tickets just to support the Community. Lucky me, I won second prize  ;D
All items in the box were donated by stall holders.
I also bought 2 jars of flavoured nut pastes. Very expensive but then I am going to make something similar in the TMX so that is ok. As I have got the Spiralized out I will probably experiment with the paste stirred into the noodles.

There is a black dish at the bottom, made from a plastic LP record.

What a great prize Chookie.  It's nice to win something for a change.

Cookie your team played well to beat us today and they had a lot of supporters there.  I bumped into Karen and one of her sons at the ice-cream booth.
