Besides cooking I have put together two quilts for our local hospital and just got an email asking for some santa sacks for another organisation which helps out the needy so hope to find time to do some of them as well. Will have to dig into the fabric box; its fun though. I think I need a nanna nap now.

This is the 1st time I have had success logging on to the Forum today. Each time I would get a page saying it was unavailable.
We went out for a few hours to a house warming for a guy that works with my DH.

That's lousy Katj. We had a car run today, up into the hills. Of course the old dear boiled going up the hill, but DH backed off the engine advance/retard lever and it went fine. And no I have no idea, it is a lever on the steering wheel with a couple of others.

Troupie that is going to keep you out of mischief.
The first photo is some of the cars at a place we visited. The second is a photo of a beautiful red Mercedes 1980’s vintage at the second place we visited.

It's so nice of you to make the quilts etc for different organisations Katj, especially at this time of year when we have so many other things to do.

Me four; does that mean a lotto win for us. I suppose I would have to buy a ticket first.

Took Mum to have her pacemaker checked, caught up with SIL at Morpeth, bought my tins at Cheap as Chips for biscuits and now sitting in the movies, The Dressmaker about to start.

We had an interesting and expensive day. DS18 had to go to a plastic surgeon to have an injury checked to see if surgery is needed. OMG  :o :o :o The waiting room was like the lobby at a posh hotel and we won't talk about the bill  :'( :'( :'(
Afterwards I went and bought myself a new stone coloured band for my iWatch to cheer myself up

After that retail therapy would be needed. I hope DS is ok.

We went to see a friend today who has Motor Neurone disease today. That is the pits. He and his wife as just so brave. Makes you think twice about the measly sore toe you have.

Hope your son is a okay Djinni

I spent the day at JHH (our public hospital) mum doesn't have private cover and she has been on the waiting list for 11 months. Seems all went well. I have a boot load of her stuff - apparently staying for a week. Looks like she is moving in.  ???

Cookie I lost a dear friend to MN 2 years ago. It is such a cruel disease.
