We are staying at the  Copthorn hotel it does have fantastic  views with a lovely balcony but by my standards a no way 4 Star hotel and not recommended.

This is a stunning place. Queenstown.

Home tomorrow.

You are making me quite hungry Gert. Gorgeous scenery.

The kids and I are home alone this weekend. Off to Bunnings soon for more plants :)

Can't say I achieved a lot today, but did take DS (almost 8) birthday shopping as he had no idea what he would like so I let him choose his own presents. He choose a world globe, a human skeleton, a new watch, a hopefully female canary to add to his aviary of two males and one female canary, and a few other bits and pieces. :)

No name for the the canary as yet, he has Jack and mitsy and their baby he called sticky beak as when he was little he kept falling out of the nest box every few hours and we had to keep putting him back in again :)

We just had a few laughs trying to put the skeleton together as I put the rib bones in the wrong place on the spine leaving the skeleton with an extra long neck. When I realized what I done we laughed so much we had tears running down our face :)

I've hot a name for the canary Mandi. DS5 made a quail out of recycled boxes at school on Friday. It looks really good, but when I enquirer about its name he replied, his name is bacon mummy? Mmmmm what do you think Mandi?

Enjoy the birthday celebrations for your DH and his family today Denise, wish him a happy birthday from me.  Is it a special birthday or are all birthdays special in your house?

Thanks Judy, not a special birthday,we try and get together with extended family for most birthdays otherwise everyone is so busy and we don't see each other.
