Marina the N2 shop is in Brunswick St, Fitzroy. It's fairly small but the ice cream is lovely.

Thanks, that is very handy ... just around the corner from our shop!

Brought Mr Dough along for drive to shop for grocery shopping. It loved the cosiness of the car, and rose to the occasion 😁😝

Hilarious

If I had known I would have dropped in and you could have had an ice cream too. Next time?

BZB I'm glad your dough rose in the car.
We flew home today. The wind was so strong we got home an entire hour early. DH was very surprised to get a call and hear we were at the airport so early. I slept most of the way home.  :D

May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Sounds like a brilliant trip home and, yes, I would love to join you for an I scream at any time, just let me know when you are next in the area.

Had a sit down this afternoon and finished joining my crochet blanket (afghan).
Now have to run in a lot of ends!  This one has taken over a year to do and is a belated wedding present, it got too big to be portable. So belated that the first baby is a few months old!

Have already started knitting pieces for the next one. Very good occupation for waiting at hospital appointments, and this next one is portable at the moment. Don't know who it's for, whoever needs it by the time it is finished. It might take years.

It sounds a good way to keep yourself occupied DJ and I'm sure your blankets are appreciated by the recipients no matter when they receive them.  I hope DH is doing OK.

Hugs DJ.
Yes Marina, I'll will let you know and we can meet for that I scream, or even an icecream if I remember to look at spelling before I post. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I saw the specialist for my hip/back/ leg this morning. I can now say it is back. Apparently old age is hitting me and my spine has narrowed and is pinching on several nerves to my leg. My option is to do nothing, or have an operation. So at the moment I have decided to do nothing until it gets so bad that it hurts all day and minimise my walking so that I don't do too much in one day. eg going to Melbourne. I'll see how that goes. It's like back to front sciatica as it's the front of my leg. I always knew I was a back to front kinda gal. :D :D :-))

Cookie I feel for you, I suffered for years with a bad back, and sciatica, would seeing a physio help?

You love your holidays Cookie, this is going to have a big effect on what you can and cannot do.  Wishing you well in managing this problem until such time as you have the op. xx
