How lovely to hear from you Mandi.  I'm amazed at how much you manage to fit into your day.  You really are a wonder woman.  Good luck in your studies.  :)

Just catching up.
Nikkit,  at least. Your mum is ok.  That is all that matters.
Dede,  been thinking about you.  Best wishes.
Party last night was a real buzz.  Over 100 oldies all out to have a good time.  Many of the girls had made a special effort and bought the most outragest  outfits from charity shops.  There was music all night with a country and western band and many guests singing.  The food was pretty ordinary.  One woman who ate one of my Florentines,  said she was in heaven.  ;D. Makes me realise what good food we have here.  Will try and post a photo later.

Sounds like a fun night Chookie.

Just the normal stuff here.  Did some washing seeing it is sunny outside, maybe it will dry.  Spent some time yesterday clearing out a lot of "stuff" from my sewing room.  At least I have floor space now. :D

Chookie it sounds like great fun.
Mab I am having big troubles getting my washing dry. I have a dryer but don't really like it. This morning the car club are calling here for morning tea and to see our cars and the teardrop before we go on to another members place for the same and lunch. I have made a batch of scones as it is cool and wet and miserable. Everyone always supplies their own morning tea and lunch so this is a special treat.

I have put drink coasters everywhere as I don't want people putting their coffee cups on my jarrah table. Mean aren't I?

No Cookie, just being sensible.  People don't think and some will put their hot mugs anywhere.  Nice of you to spoil them with a treat for morning tea, they look lovely.

I used to keep a cotton floor rug under my tablecloth. LOL. Then I bought an old blanket and  cut it for my round table . Now. I don't care!

From our place we went on to another. Here is a few of the cars lined up at the next house. As it is a wet day lots of people don't like to get their cars wet so they didn't bring them.

What a show, that looks great Cookie.  Nice of the neighbours to let them park on their lawn too  ;D

We have a friend who restored an old car, he doesn't take it out in the rain either - said the brakes don't work properly when it's wet  ??? :o
