Lovely flowers Gayle, we always wore a chrysanthemum to church on Mother's Day when we were kids.

Enjoy your trip cookie and Mr cookie, take your thermi, he'll be lonely and cold left at home. Lol
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

I've pretty well decided that Termite is staying home. I'm already missing him and told DD she has to love him every day. I'm taking the Dream Pot with us. Last year the thermomix didn't get over used, but it was handy. I'm going to spend 4 weeks doing things the hard way. We tend to eat a lot of fish and salad up there and grills. We use it a lot when we are touring. See how we go.

Great choice Cookie. If you didn't use it last year, you probably won't use it this year. DH catches fish there and you have your meal plan sorted. Fish and salad is so doable without TMX. A no frills kitchen still cooks. You are away on holiday and having fun.  :D

You will be fine and Termite will be well looked after. Be fun cooking in a different way. Lots of fish I hope. Enjoy.

Thanks girls and Bedlam. Talking about the flowers has brought back a whole lot of lovely memories and may be the start of a new Mothers Day tradition based on Gert's info.

Cookie have a fantastic getaway. Looking forward to seeing what you cook in the dream pot.

Today I went to the local Farmers Market. It was really buzzing. I go to the supermarket and can't seem to find much that I want to buy. I go to the Farmers market and… My name is Gayle and I have a problem  :D The picture isn't even all of it as I found another bag after I took the pic ;D Was thrilled to find local (NSW) nitrate free ham and a piece of kassler and some organic green tea with lemon and ginger. Mmmm

I love local markets and food produce. Look like you did well.

Soccer this morning then home to climb mount foldmore. Changed all the sheets and cleaned the rooms. DS cleaned the toy room and cleaned out the shoe draws. Sadie is charging ready to clean. Mopping to do. Quick tidy upstairs and I'll be feeling great.

My youngest stepdaughter La-Teesha turns 17 on Monday. She requested an all you can eat  :-X  birthday lunch with family and friends.
She was 9 when I first met her and now all grown up.

Time sure flies Michelle. Hope she enjoyed her lunch.
I've been to sport this morning, done some washing and then hours have flashed by as I've challenged myself to edit a video on the computer for the first time ever. It's amazing how time just evaporates on the computer. I almost forgot to make dinner!
