MF your friends are getting a real taste of Australia. Winder what they will think of  Cloncurry. That is really going bush.

Back home today after 3 days away house sitting and dog sitting for DS and family.  It was GD2 15th birdhday and they took her to Sydney to see the Lion King.  She loved it.

Cookie, the arm on my glasses has broken off three times since I have had them and each time it costs me $89 to have it fixed.  It is now broken again and I refuse to pay out any more money so it is taped on with a clear band aid  and that's they way it will stay.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

CC the first thing that got me about your photo was the green!
I am sadly lacking in green here. No rain, no green, everything is vary-ing shades of brown.  :( :(
I suppose I take the lush green colour for granted Nikkit. :D :D :D

2 very lazy days as cp is sick, I am not happy, he has chills, sore throat etc. we both had flu shots before we left in the hope to stop any flu bugs. Was hoping to explore the arab area today, maybe tomorrow. Had to cancel dinner last nigt up the supertree.

Hope he feels good soon, its not nice for him & he has this very sad look on his face >:(

Its been nice & sunny, so we have been reading books out by the pool. Managed to get him out for a few hours, but then back to bed. Organising chicken noodle soup for him later :)

Beautiful photos ladies, thanks for posting.

MF, so glad your friends are enjoying their time here and lovely to be catching up on all their news as well as times past.

Judy, it seems hard to believe that it is 12 months ago since Geoff moved in.  Take care of yourself.

Hally, hoping CP gets better quickly, take care

MF = it sounds as though your having a wonderful time with your friends! :D

Hally, here's hoping your son gets better very quickly.  It's no fun being sick, and it's an absolute pain being sick on vacation! Fingers crossed for a quick recovery.

Yes Gert the freezer is still under warranty. It is 5.40pm and no one has turned up. They will be getting an irate phone call tomorrow morning. DH missed car club to be here and that makes him most unhappy.

Hally CP hasn't been bitten by a mosquito while you are up there has he? He may have picked up something on the plane. I hope he is feeling better soon.

Had a lovely day at Moore River. DS took us through the bush 4 wheel driving. Our friends loved it.
Had a lovely barbecue with the family and home now getting ready to go out for  dinner with all of. other kids and grand kids. Not hungry but should be a fun night.
Tomorrow taking our friends into Perth city and then to Fremantle as its their last day tomorrow. We have taken them to Kings Park earlier in the week  but havent been into the city centre yet. They leave for Cloncurry early Friday morning and yes Gert that will be a real outback experience. They have loved their time here in WA and great to catch up and meet all the family. We have had a fantastic time and will be sad to see them leave.

BZB you wouldn't see DS's house from the foreshore as its a few streets back near the lighthouse. No views but a great little retreat with a big yard for the kids. They spend a lot of time down by the water as its really safe for the little ones.

Hally hope cp gets better soon and you enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Poor CP Hally, how much longer do you have up there?

Enjoy the last day with your visitors MF, this is a holiday they won't forget in a hurry.

Cookie, I can understand DH not being happy, I hate wasting a whole day waiting for tradesmen who don't show up.
