Judy you must be almost cleaned out by now. Well done.

CP some close friends bought a Heinz 57 dog from a dog home. It became quite ill a day or so later and the vet bills were expensive. They rang them and were told sorry! All they wanted was a dog they could love and take for walks. Needless to say they weren't happy. The dog home eventually re I burned them.
Take care when finding your new baby.

Yes Cookie I think I'm there.  I will now have time to concentrate on the garden in the cooler weather coming.

We had our draftsman over with the 2nd draft of a new house.  Getting close and starting to feel a little excited.  We have had our block for over 5 years but life keeps getting in the way.

How exciting Denise! When do you hope to start building and now long will it take?

Judy, As soon as we can get sorted.  This is the 3rd time we have had something drawn up but this time through a builder.  We dont want double brick which is the most common product for houses here.  We have a sloping block which makes for a few issues, but hey we are getting there at last.

Its a wooden framed home with mixed external cladding.  Next coffee get together i will bring a picture.  We wanted a beach house look and they have created pretty much what we wanted.  Yes its a bit bigger block so neighbours not as close and are much older.

Denise, it sounds like you are well on your way towards the dream house now, good luck with it all and look forward to progress reports once it's underway.

Robyn, is the new business linked to your current one or a totally new venture - good luck with it all.

Denise it sounds lovely. Double brick is so silly here with out hear heat. Once it heats up it takes several days to cool. When we did our last bush stint we had a brick veneer house and it cooled over night. Just lovely. When we built we wanted to do that but the shire was a pain in the neck.  We eventually chickened out and did double brick. They passed the plans immediately for double brick, yet with brick veneer they put all sorts of things in our way.

I can't wait to see some photos.

The really quick look I just had looks great Obbie.

Good Luck  :)

I have been shovelling horse poo. A job that Miss 17 helps me with every time without complaint, even though we get covered in it as the wind changes all the time and we wear a fair bit.  :-))

Then when backing the trailer into the vege garden to unload horse poo, I reversed along a star picket in my car  :o :( :( and have scratched the front wheel arch. Very sad right now and wondering how to tell hubby what I have done. A spit and polish isn't going to cover it up  :(
