Have just finished altering two pair of work trousers for my nephew.  I get everyones alterations but  I don't mind as they all pay me in bottles of wine. :D

I'm the turn up person too mab19. Do you do them by hand?

Today has been a catch up day with housework. I have let a few things go since we got back and today was the day to do them.

I hate taking up trousers  :(

I've been at work today and half of yesterday as well.  We've just changed the practice management database software at work and there is so much to do to get it set up and working.  Spent most of today keying in opening balances (boring!).  Still a massive amount more to do.  I'll be glad when it's all done and running smoothly (then I'll take some time off to make up for working on the weekend  :D).

Work has been taking all my energy lately, not much time to be on the forum or in the kitchen.

Sorry to hear that work is intruding on your weekend Katie  :( :(

We recently got back from a week holiday in Robe, where I had planned for DH to have a scenic flight in a tiger moth.  He absolutely loved it, including doing the aerobatics, which left my heart in my mouth watching from the ground!!

As things turned out though, we ALL ended up having flights in the tiger moth, kids and all.  DH took our 6 year old up with him, and I got talked into taking our 4 year old up with me.  Both kids loved it and werent frightened at all.  Our 4 year old wanted to know why we didnt go upside down like Dad  :o :o :o  Not with me in the plane!!  But the kids did look rather cute in the flying jackets that the pilot lent us.

Katie, shame to have to work on a Sunday. Glad you have had a few minutes to post today and it will be good to have some time up your sleeve for well deserved long weekend when everything is up and running.  :)

Sunday and a public holiday Monday  :(
I'm sure I'll enjoy my time off when I get it, so I shouldn't grumble.

Great photo Karen.  Great memories.

I bought Richard a war-bird aerobatic flight for his birthday a few years ago.
As soon as he took off I felt like you and decided it was the worst present I'd ever bought someone!  I spent the whole time panicking that the plane would fall out of the sky.  I was so relieved when they landed safely.

No Cookie, I cut them off, overlock them and then sew on the machine. Easy peasy.

Love the photos Karen.

I knew DH was going up but what a surprise to read you had all had a go, bravo you. Thanks for sharing the photos with us Karen, the boys are very adventurous at such a young age  - there's no way you'd get me in one of those.

What a nuisance that you had to work over the weekend Katie. :( At least you can look forward to your time off in the future ;)

Great photos of your boys Karen ;D I don't think I would have had enough courage to go up in the plane :D :D

It was a surprise to me too Judy!!  I had no plans to get into that plane.  I was shamed into it by my 4 year old :-[
